How Do I Prepare for Drone Delivery?
When expecting a delivery:

  • Ensure people, pets, and objects are at least 15 feet away from the drone as it descends.
  • Keep the drop-off area clear for a smooth and safe delivery.

When Can I Place My First Order?
If your address is within our 1-mile delivery radius, you can place an order through the DEXA NOW app. We’re rolling out service in stages to ensure a seamless experience. Sign up here to be notified when delivery is available in your area.

How Do I Place an Order?

  1. Download the DEXA NOW app on Apple or Android.
  2. Create an account, enable location services, and add your address.
  3. Once your address is verified, place your order and relax!
    You’ll receive real-time updates through the app and can track your drone as it delivers your order. Remember to maintain a safe distance from the drone during delivery.

What Are the Operating Hours?
In Winston-Salem, DEXA drone deliveries operate:
Monday, Wednesday, Friday: 1 p.m. – 4 p.m.

Address Verification Process

To ensure accurate and safe delivery, all addresses must be verified before placing an order.

How It Works:

  1. Creating an Account:
    • When you add a new address, DEXA receives a notification to validate it.
    • If the address is outside the delivery range, you’ll be notified immediately, and no further action is taken.
  2. Validation Process:
    • Our team will visit your property to determine a safe drop-off location.
    • Once validated, your address will be marked as verified, and you’ll receive an email and app notification confirming your account is ready for orders.
  3. Address Modifications:
    • If you modify an address, the verification process will restart.
    • You’ll be notified and must agree to the new verification process before saving changes.

Note: Orders can only be placed with verified addresses to ensure safe and reliable delivery.
